Southern Thunder: from the heart, vol. 1 / Southern Plains
Southern Thunder consists of men and women singers from the Pawnee, Osage, Kiowa, Sac & Fox, and Shawee tribes. The variety of tribes represented in their group provides them with a large repertory of songs to choose from. Their exceptionally strong women's group has made Southern Thunder widely known for their distinctive sound, reminicent of an orchestra with different parts combining to make beautiful music. This album, recorded live in March of '95, was one of those rare fortunate times when an outstanding spirited performance and a high quality digital recorder got together.
"Southern Thunder" est constitué d'un chanteur et d'une chanteuse de Pawnee, Osage, Kiowa, Sac et Fox, ainsi que des tribus Shawee.
La variété de tribus répresentée leur profile avec un répertoire de chansons d'origines que l'on ne peut choisir tant il y en a.
Ce fut l'exceptionnelle chanteuse qui créa le groupe "Southern Thunder" avec l'ouverture de connaissance pour placer leur voix distincte, reminiscente d'un orchestre avec un mélange étonnant pour une fabuleuse musique.
Cet album, qui fut enregistré en mars 95, est une des rares fois que l'on alie si bien la performance spirituelle à une haute qualité d'enregistrement.
